In an earlier post, I talked about baby car seats and that they can combine into strollers for easy use. Some can be purchased as a package. But what if you just want a stroller? Maybe your baby is no longer a baby and you want to take longer strolls. (See Related: Baby Strollers and Car Seats; Did you know they combine?)
While they make plenty of 4-wheeled strollers that are great, in this post, I’ll be touching on just the 3-wheeled ones more specific for jogging. (Summer is coming, people love to get outdoors!)
Below are two of the top rated jogging strollers of 2018.
Costzon Baby Jogging Stroller
The Costzon jogging stroller comes with 2 cup holders and a closing tray compartment that can hold your phone, keys, or whatever smaller item you need to take with you on your walk.
It also has a lockable front wheel. This is important, some strollers have a free moving front wheel, and that can sometimes make you lose a little control. A lockable wheel makes the stroller sturdier.
It always has rubber tires with a suspension. Perfect for all types of terrains.
There is a storage basket on the bottom, very large in size. Can easily fit your diaper bag. It also has an extra large canopy to protect your baby from the sun. (It is removable as well.)
Extras: 5-point hardness, easy-fold, tractive webbing, multi-position recline, light-weight.
This one is one of the cheaper strollers, around $160.
Reviews: *Most say it is really easy to one handed fold the stroller, and it gets very compact.
*Some say it is not as good on gravel as many other strollers.
*The basket does not fit all size diaper bags.
BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Jogging Stroller
The BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 jogging stroller is compatible with many brands of infant carriers, if that is something that you are interested in and having your infant grow into a toddler with a stroller. Brands include: BOB, Britax, Chicco, Cybex, Graco, Maxi Cosi, Nuna, and Peg Prego.
There is a lockable front wheel, air-filled tires, and a mountain-bike style suspension system to help provide a comfortable ride. The canopy and cargo basket have reflective accents to help all see you.
Other notable extras: 50+ UPF canopy, 5-point harness, multiple recline positions, wrist strap for running, 3 large seat-back pockets, two seat pockets, cell phone pocket, large cargo basket.
A really nice feature about this stroller is that the handlebars can adjust to 9 different positions. As an almost 6 foot tall woman, this is really appealing. Most strollers are just a little too short for me to run comfortably.
This stroller is more expensive, around $350.
Reviews: *Very nice for jogging.
*Easy to fold.
*Large storage basket, lots of storage.
*Worth the money if you are an avid runner.
If you already have a jogging stroller, what is your recommendation, or do you use one of these brands already?
